The Play Safety Forum has produced Managing Risk in Play Provision to help strike a balance between the risks and the benefits of offering children challenging play opportunities.
This case study was produced as part of Play England’s Exploring Nature Play project, which worked across three adventure playgrounds in London, North Tyneside and Torbay, as well as with schools and environmental organisations, to explore different ways of increasing children’s understanding of nature through play.
There is a huge treasure trove of nature play ideas and things to do and discover on the internet, but sometimes they can be hard to find.
