Consultation response: National Planning Policy Framework

On 25 July 2011, the Department for Communities and Local Government published the draft National Planning Policy Framework for consultation. The framework is a key part of Government reforms to make the planning system less complex and more accessible, and to promote sustainable growth.

Play England has responded to questions 1-17 of the document, outlining the importance of children's views in planning for residential areas, schools, town centres, open spaces and leisure facilities.
