Play in your area

Want to find good quality play provision in your area? There are great play opportunities out there for children and young people.  We’re developing these listings of local play organisations, who run Adventure Playgrounds, a unique open access staffed play provision, after-school clubs, half-term and summer activities, as well as specialised play provision for children and young people with additional needs. Local play providers provide an absolutely crucial public service, making sure children and young people have access to free quality play provision. So do please give them your support!

Check out our map!

Just click on the region where you live. It will list local play organisations and adventure playgrounds.

Help us put play on the map!

If you know of a great playground and can’t see it on our map, or you are a play provider offering free play opportunities which aren’t listed, please complete our on-line form and we’ll add you to our map!

Other opportunities for children to play out:

Playday

Every August, hundreds of Playday events take place around the country. They are a great opportunity for children to enjoy free play activities. Find the nearest event to you. http://www.playday.org.uk/events-page/

Nothing quite close enough? Why not organise something yourself?

Playday has great resources to help you organise a fun day for children. It doesn’t have to be a big event either, it could be a residents-only street party or a celebration with a group of friends and family
