The Play Research Network is an informal, unconstituted group, which meets about every six months. The group provides the opportunity for exchange of information and ideas, and is open to everyone involved in research about play.
The Play Research Network may be of interest to you if you are currently, have been recently or are planning to undertake research about children and young people's play and informal recreation and would like to be in touch with other people doing this sort of work in the UK.
Meetings are organised by volunteers from the group and a central database of contact names is currently held by Play England. At each meeting members are invited to present and discuss their work and there is time for informal networking and information sharing. We are also looking at ways of developing a research database and an e-group.
