Want to support free, local, inclusive play for children and young people? The most effective way is to join Play England today.

As a member of the Play England Council, you'll contribute to the development of play policy and practice in England. We invite you to regular meetings to shape the future strategic direction of Play England, and you will be able to share information and support with other members.

Regular mailings will keep you up to date with the latest news and policy initiatives for the play sector, plus in-depth briefings on key topics.

Charter for Children's Play

Members are required to show their commitment to promoting children's play by endorsing the Charter for Children's Play on the membership application form. The charter is the foundation document of all Play England's work.

Play England launched its membership in April 2008. It replaces the former Children's Play Council membership, and has been developed following consultation with the play sector and other partners.
