The South East area covers Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxford, Surrey and West Sussex, and is a mixture of urban and rural areas. Both provide challenges in the creation of strong, effective play services and patnerships. The South East is comparable to England as a whole in relation to its demographic, economic and social characteristics.
The team hopes that, through the promotion of the benefits of play and the creation of strong links with key regional agencies, play will be given the recognition it deserves.
