Quality in Play assessor training
19 April 2010: This training day was for Quality in Play mentors who wanted to join Play England's assessment team.

Play England Council meeting
29 April 2010: At this important meeting of Play England members, the council adopted a new set of aims and objectives to provide the guiding framework for Play England's new strategic plan. Key speakers in the field also gave presentations on Playday and PlayPods.

Playday 2010 organiser seminars
March 2010: Play England coordinated two national seminars to support Playday event organisers to celebrate Playday 2010 and get involved in this year’s Our place campaign.

Playable communities: Priorities for a new decade
23 March 2010: Play England hosted a major national conference to consider the impact of recent investment in children’s play and how this momentum for change can be sustained.

Playing the long game
March 2010: Play England and partners held a symposium to review recent policy developments in children’s play and child-friendly public space in the four UK nations, to consider their impact and to debate how to sustain the momentum for change.

Community play seminars
March 2010: Play England hosted a series of regional seminars for voluntary and community sector organisations involved in play, to support the delivery of local play strategies.
