Play England aims for all children and young people in England to have regular access to and opportunity for free, inclusive, local play provision and play space.

Play England offers expert advice and support to all those involved in the strategic development of children's play. Services include:

Play England is part of NCB. The project to establish Play England as the national organisation for play is funded by the Big Lottery Fund as an integral part of their Children’s Play initiative.

Play England is now a government national delivery partner, working closely with local authorities and the voluntary sector to ensure that England’s first ever national Play Strategy transforms public play space and play services.
